🎃 Happy Halloween, Ghoulfriends! 👻

It is officially my favorite time of year, and I'm betting it's probably yours too! To celebrate, I decided to create a spooky season challenge that's a little different than the ones I've seen before. Each costume category is inspired by classic Halloween costumes that have stood the test of time, each waiting for you to put your own spin on them. This one is only for 20 days because I know you'll all be busy this month and there will be other super fun challenges you'll want to do. Now, off to Dr. Frankenstein's lab with you! I can't wait to see what machinations your twisted minds summon.

The Rules:

Choose one of your own Sims to be the party's host. Their costume is completely up to you.

Every other category is reserved for townies, and the choice of each townie for each category is totally up to you.

Be sure to use the #towniemonstermash tag to share your creations and tag me (@mickimagnum) personally if you'd like me to reblog them as well.

Happy spooky season!

To kick things off, I came up with this CAS challenge. I had a blast doing @nikatyler's Bloody Nights CAS Challenge last year (for sure check it out if you need more spooky ideas) and I haven’t found a new challenge yet this year, so I figured I’d make one myself.

I kinda focused on coming up with classic spooky Halloween tropes, but obviously, everything is up to interpretation. The main thing is to have fun! Obviously, you can start this whenever, but I plan on starting this in October (but of course feel free to get a head start).

Not-So-Simstober: a (love letter) 31 day sims challenge

A staple of the season, Simstober posts have been delighting our games and feeds for the last few years. Unfortunately, word on the street is our fangtastic friends @simstober are currently busy with other haunts. But the legacy of those years of magic lives on...

Help spread the spirit of Simstober with 31 haunting prompts. Use one each day in the month of October to create the spooky sims content of your choosing (edits, renders, lookbooks, stories, CAS creations, builds, etc.).
