I think, being Ukrainian, the cherry on top to just living through a genocide of your people and news about more and more rape, deaths and destruction every single day, is the constant gaslighting and whining from russians and some non-russians alike about us being so russophobic for daring to not appreciate the great russian culture.

Babes, this IS russian culture. Genocide, theft, rape, murder - that is russian culture. Everything else (ballet, literature, and the like) basically exists to facilitate, justify or disguise the things mentioned above. And everyone defending that culture, promoting it and giving it platform and awards participate in this genocide, willingly or not.

And until the russian people themselves process their identity and culture and the issues with it and work on it, it's not going to change.

Gaty and Two together are so beautiful. They may be doomed by the narrative but at least queerplatonic love is alive and free

I think Gaty's genuinely been growing more as a person because of Two. Her in Bfb is snarky, whiny, and kind of annoyed and lazy. She doesn't take Book's complaining and is the one to actually confront her about how her issues are messing with the team, which is really admirable.

I think she's become a lot nicer and laid back in TPOT, starting after episode 2, when she started her connection with Two. In TPOT 6 she goes out of her way to think up a plan to make Two dinner. She's still mean and snarky sometimes (which is really good because if not I think she just would not be the same character anymore), but she's also really kind.

One thing I think about a lot is how she's shown to fear elimination a lot in BFB, but goes out of her way to help Two even though that was the riskiest option and would most likely have gotten her eliminated. She has never been one for self-sacrificial behavior, but she did it for her friend.

Gaty also helped Two discover things about themselves and helped them with their problems, causing Two to cling to her like, a lot. She is the first person Two goes to for personal help. Even when they are infected and in a dangerous situation where they have the urge to hurt everyone, Two gravitates towards Gaty. This amount of trust and love is beautiful,

but there will be times where she can't be there to help them, even if they need her. Relying on this one regular person to help you with your hyperspecific problems is not healthy in the long run. Two 'giving back to her' by helping her out would be great, except that would make the game unfair (she does get tons of unintentional good karma for being a good friend though! like with the Two sandwich, and convincing Two that the beam was good, and Two sending her to the elimination area to keep her safe)

I love the concept of Baratie not just bc it's a sea restaurant and that's cool but because their policy is the absolute antithesis of "the customer is always right." Oh you wanna be a jerk to the staff? Get decked, loser. Being terrible on a date? Congratulations, our sous chef will steal your girl. Ordered a wine that pairs badly? Ignored, we're picking a better one. It's like objectively the funniest way to run a restaurant and I can't stop thinking about it.

what they don't tell you about making friends is you gotta be a lil annoying. you gotta push past the fear of "what if they don't want to talk to me" and simply ask someone how their day is going, send a meme. you cannot connect to people if you're both just awkwardly waiting for the other to start.

most people continue to watch all of miraculous ladybug and hope that adrien and marinette get together at the end. i watch every episode of season 4 once, violently hate it and pretend it doesn't exists and live the rest of my life in denial and pretending luka and marinette are endgame

I have tried to shortly explain the difference of impulsive and intrusive and hope it will help people to understand and use the words correctly.
