does anyone have any great comet b00tlegs they’d be willing to share… i’ve seen what’s most popular on youtube but i know there’s other things and i just want to see. i don’t care abt quality or the cast or anything i just need something to feed my obsession.
dolokhov’s very few lines in the great comet are such ear worms like “this is serious business, dangerous business” i just love the way he talks
maybe i’m overestimating my abilities but i’m heavily considering captioning this great comet bootleg myself just so my grandma can watch it
the way the great comet is structured makes me think so much even though i know you’re meant to just accept that it’s different. im sorry i cannot do that. pierre says “i should visit, i hear she is more beautiful than ever” and all i can think about is how he saw her last week.
has anyone else noticed that while in the pit pierre watches natasha much more consistently than any other character who passes him? i might be seeing nothing but i really wonder if that’s on purpose.
there’s probably some great comet production that has a perfectly cast pierre, but out of the major times he’s been portrayed (on stage or on screen) they always manage to cast him as either too small or too old. is it really that hard to find a large man who is under 40 ?
do they mention nikolai at all in the great comet (besides mentioning sonya’s fiancé)? only asking cuz sometimes i think about how they managed to mention boris and not nikolai
i need a website to notify me when anyone (and i mean anyone) in a 100 mile radius of me is doing a production of the great comet. actually that feels like a thing that already exists but i know nothing i will just continue you to google it once a week.
