I’m finally happy with this :D

No longer will she be kinda goth!! Now she’s just goth!!

Now that I’m writing a goth character I actually have to look into Goth subcultures. It’s interesting having a character who’s into things I know nothing about, like poetry and roller derby. It’s a fun learning experience :)

Yaaaayyy!! This is it!! That’s everyone!! (well for the “main cast” anyway) More about him under the cut (´π`)

The Ring (as his name might suggest) is the self proclaimed Ringmaster of the circus. He’s very out there to put it bluntly. He’s very spontaneous and has a tendency to not take anything but his own problems seriously. He always craves constant control and constant entertainment, always looking for the next big show. He also has full control over the Spectacle and can see almost everything! Even though he knows a great deal about all of them, most of the carnies aren’t aware of his existence! I think thats all I can say about him for now!

Woe! Jerk be upon ye 😔 hey so guess who hasn’t posted since last month!!! Now that I’m out of school for the summer I’ll definitely be posting more! I have that Ronnette redesign almost finished and I’m taking a few art classes over the summer to improve my skills! I also just got a better drawing app because the one I use now kinda sucks so I’m excited for that and I’ll be posting animations! at some point…

Also don’t ask why The Rings face is like that it’s totally not for any reason it doesn’t mean anything I don’t even know what you’re talking about now that I think about it because that looks like a normal face to me🤨🤨 ok bye wuv you <3

Remember that twin I mentioned here? Here she is!!

This is Loops!! The gloomiest gal in the room (that’s not an insult I mean it in a good way! The best way there is)

Omg I can’t wait to finish introducing them all aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhahahahahagebeben ohh how I love her color palette! So blue!! More about her under the cut :(

Loops is another contortionist in their little circus! The other is her twin brother but they are very very different. She’s much more melancholic and and quiet. So soft spoken and so quick to assume the worst. Well most of the time at least, she has her moments! Like when she’s sewing things for her friends! If ever anyone’s cape or skirt has a tear they know just where to find her! Lying face down in the middle of the hallway, defeated. A sewing request might cheer her up though!

Here’s a drawing I made when I first showed her to one my friends! He said she’s in her sad girl era and he couldn’t be more correct. She might get out of it though. Maybe. You’ll have to wait and see. I’m also going to redesign Ronnette today. Idk when I’ll post it but I’ll definitely draw it today! I have a better outfit idea! The worst guy to ever exist and the big bad of my story will be posted before then tho! One more thing!!! Loops also goes by Loo Loo! Only a few people call her that though! Ronnie just calls her names :D

This is Knotts!! A fantastically flexible contortionist!!!

Oh wow I’m very excited to introduce him! I think he’s so funny. More about him under the cut :D

Knotts is one of the two contortionists in my story! They are twins! And he’s the younger one! Knotts is very extreme compared to everyone else, so he’s overly energetic and hyper. Always shouting nonsense or singing gibberish to whoever will listen. He’s probably insane actually. He’s very much an optimist! Always finding the positive side of any situation. He wants everyone to be as happy as he is.

Here’s a beautiful not weird at all drawing of Knotts <3 He’s such a fun character to write! I’m excited to talk about him and everyone else more! Now all who’s left to introduce is his sister and the mega jerk of my story!! Here’s one more thing before I go! He’s the younger twin and is slightly veryyyyy slightly shorter than his sister.

This is Titi!! The Spectacle’s one and only puppeteer! She’s sure got the arms and the voice range for it!

Oh Titi! I have so much to say about her! For starters I mentioned that she’s the mom friend of the group. She’s so nurturing and generous by nature, she really keeps everyone together. She’s a puppeteer and has hundreds of handmade puppets that she’s written many plays for! And She absolutely talks to all of her puppets like they’re alive. Her bottom arms connect to a body segment that can spin independently and is fully articulated (Like Sardonyx from Steven Universe)

Here’s an old drawing from her first redesign! My friend asked if she’s Christmas themed because I first drew her in December. No she’s not >:( but now I like the idea of Ronnette calling her a Christmas elf. One more thing! “Titi” actually comes from “titiritera” which means puppeteer in Spanish! Wie cool ist das!?!?

Like I mentioned in my last post, Francis and Mercury are best friends! And despite being the taller of the two (and the tallest in general haha) Francis definitely looks up to him. I think he’s pretty gentle and polite, and can be a little oblivious and forgetful at times. He’s still trying his darnedest though!! He’ll get there!! He’s the second clown in the Spectacle and he specializes in balancing and lifting acts!! What a guy! :3

I know I kinda played up how amazing he is, but it’s only because that’s how he’d describe himself!! Mercury is very confidant and can sometimes come off as egotistical (which he is). He reeaallyy likes himself and his fantastic act! He just wishes everyone else saw it the way he does, but alas; they’d rather focus on their silly jokes and gags. But no bother! He knows his show is much too sophisticated for them to truly appreciate anyway! (He’s a meanie and I love him)

Rejoice! For onto you I bestow a very high effort quality art piece! For hours I worked diligently with nothing but my own passion and dedication to sustain me! I’ll probably be back tomorrow to show Mercury’s best friend! He’s a dog!

See!! I wasn’t lying some of my characters actually are clowns!!! I’m still clowncore!! More about them under the cut :o)

Kiss is the shortest of my characters, only an around 3 feet tall! (Small but knowing. I won’t yet elaborate.) He’s also the quietest, he rarely speaks and would rather watch. (She unintentionally comes off as a bit eerie, but she owns it!!) When they do speak, they like to whisper to whoever’s next to them. Usually Ronnie! Who he is very close with!

Ronnette is your average, over the top, “rebellious” 13 year old who claims to care about nothing and no one! But like most kids her age, that’s not really true! The truth is that shes never really thought of herself as one to fit into the “good kid” category, so she really leans into the “bad kid” persona (without realizing it). She’s such a great actor she’s even fooled herself!!! It’s no wonder she fits in so well with the Carnies!! Oh here’s one last fun fact before I go!! Ronnette secretly loooovveesss 70s disco music but only allows herself to enjoy it in private because it doesn’t match her vibe. She’d swear she likes it “ironically” whatever that means.
