SUN SHONE through the glass door and the sheer green curtains covering it. Light bathed the tidied living room in a soft afternoon glow, easy enough on the eyes to sleep comfortably.

Not that Isabella really needed help with that, she was a heavy sleeper.

On the couch is where her physically exhausted body lay, unconscious to the world around her. She'd had a long night the previous day, what with her concert and the after-party following it.

The show went off without any problems, which was always appreciated by the young performer. The after-party, however.. was a slightly different story. It was also an additional reason the prima donna was so knocked out.

Keys jangled in the front door, before unlocking and allowing it to be opened. Immediately after, a younger boy let himself in, spotting the superstar spilled all over his sofa.

He sighed and shook his head. Sometimes, she was ten billion percent annoying. Luckily for her, she wasn't totally a dumb blonde, like some in the world painted her out to be. He still called her that to tease her, of course.

But really, the sixteen-year-old had simply made a few choices her older sister wouldn't approve of.

Tearing his wired red eyes away from the softly snoring girl, he moved to the kitchen and quickly concocted something he'd researched about last night.

Because if there was one thing to know about Senku Ishigami, it's his abundant knowledge. He'd always put it to use one way or another.

Though, he would roll his eyes if anyone fawned over the fact he knew his roommate would have a raging hangover today.

Given his front row seat of last night's antics, it was the most obvious thing in the world.

So to that end, he finished the rather gross elixir and waltzed over to the couch. The young scientist analyzed her passed out self, almost chuckling at the fact that Bella still resided in her sparkly concert attire from yesterday.

Senku vividly remembered how the doorknob rattled at around one in the morning. He'd been working on this mind boggling phenomenon with petrified birds, until a fidgeting noise broke him from his thoughts.

He curiously looked outside of his room, before heading to the front entrance and looking through the peephole.

And there she was—Isabella Weinberg: America's little darling, back against the second floor railing, laughing to herself.

"Never a dull moment with you, huh?" he murmured to himself while opening the door.

Immediately, this made her smile widely at him from the ground where she sat.

"Hey! Y'got the door open!" she cheered in a tone too loud for the hour it was.

Senku snickered and knelt in front of her, easily smelling the alcohol, but asking anyways, "Are you drunk, Dawn?"

Dawn: a nickname that's a play on her middle name.

Another giggle bubbled from her glossed up lips as she shook her head childishly. "Noo, Lilly and I agreed I wouldn't drink until—" hiccup, "I'm twenty!"

Senku, for good reason, didn't believe her. This moved him to eye the dolled-up (and slightly disheveled) girl from head to toe. That's when his observant irises caught the lavender colored paper sticking out of her purse.

He grabbed it and she gasped, not aware it was even planted on her. "Woah Senku! Did you just do a magic trick..?! I didn't know you knew magic..?"

He ignored her for a moment while reading the letter.

'Hello bella's friend~ this is from bella's other friend. She said you'd take care of her so I dropped her off here. Apparently she didn't realize her drinks had alcohol in them until she was already a smidge tipsy, oopsie! Anywhooo, you two have fun!'

Senku rolled his eyes after finishing the note, pushing Bel's warm forehead back with his palm as she tried to glance at the words.

And then his gaze caught the additional message at the bottom.

'P.S. she's quite the affectionate drunk, so keep yourself safe~ ꨄ'

As if on cue, she sighed and wrapped both her arms around the younger boy's neck, bringing him into a too-close-for-comfort hug.

"Senkuuu, you're so cool," Bella gushed, burying her face into his neck. "I mean—you're totally a huge nerd and it's super funny. But like, you're also just so cool."

With another small gasp—sounding as if she was Columbus discovering America—the smaller girl pulled back. Not fully though, as she put her hands on his shoulders to keep them nearly nose to nose.

"And cute!"

He was understanding, but that made him scrunch up his face more than the hug did.

"Oh, but um, Rocket Man…" She lowered her voice into a loud whisper now, cupping her lips with one hand. "When you open your mouth it makes you a liiittle scary to some people because you have like—no filter."

He blinked, face deadpan while looking at the Texas born star.

"Right, I'm the one with no filter," he sighed softly as he fought off a smile.

Another thing about Senku Ishigami: he was never good at fighting. Not without a weapon of science at his hands.

And seeing as the only thing in arms reach was the girl that'd been living with him for a few days, he rolled his eyes, smirk tugging in the corner as he pulled her to her feet.

"Come on, idiot," he snickered in that evil way he always did. "You're going to be so embarrassed tomorrow."

Senku walked the younger Weinberg sister inside with her arm over his gangly shoulder. But after a second, he realized he wasn't breaking a sweat, making his analytical mind act up when he side-eyed her.

"Jeez Bell, what diet does your manager have you on now? You weigh like two kilograms."

"Okay. So. I'm American, right? And I think I may be drunk, so," she slurred her words right before she tripped in her glittery platforms, tumbling to the ground.

Senku had tried to catch her, but she slipped through his fingers in an instant.

Groaning and laying her head back on the Ishigami's floor, Bella slung an arm over her closed eyes.

"M'too tired to use the metric thingy.. just speak American to me please," she mumbled in a slight whine.

"You mean English?"

"English? I'm not British, Gami..? But I do like their accents—oh! And their TV shows."

Senku's expression once again went deadpan as he stared dumbfounded at the girl who was literally bleeding from a cut on her lip—thanks to the fall—and yet was rattling off her favorite British series.

Doctor Who and Downton Abbey, apparently.

A heavy sigh left the unique-haired boy as he pulled out his phone to research hangover cures in a hurry.

Glancing back to the suddenly snoring starlet, his intuition told him this was just the calm before the storm.

"This is gonna be a long night."

And it was.

Given the fact that she woke up an hour later to puke was bad enough. Thankfully Senku put a bucket by the couch he'd managed to drag her onto. But then, when Bella was slightly more alert, she made him help her remove her smudged makeup.

It had to be done before it 'ruined her skin forever' as she put it, begging for his help. Only threatening Senku with smothering him in affection kicked the unorthodox boy into high gear as he wiped her makeup off.

After that, like the mouse who was given a cookie, she also asked him to get her tooth brush and bring it to her on the couch. She could take an everything shower tomorrow, but that needed to be dealt with ASAP.

He did so, because he's a deceptively decent person, but it wasn't without rolling his eyes and getting onto her. Namely for being irresponsible and not asking what the after-party's drinks were made of before consuming them.

Then finally, with some mildly embarrassing declarations of platonic love for the scientist, she passed out again.

Until now.

It was half past noon and time for a rude awakening.

Senku gently put the dark and lethal-looking drink on the coffee table, followed by picking up the two small saucepans next to the glass.

He smirked and shrugged a shoulder up to make sure his necessary earplugs were firmly in place, when finally—

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

A sharp gasp came from Bella, who instantly shot awake in shock at the eardrum-slaughtering noises.

The sudden movement caused her to fall from the couch entirely, landing on her face for the second time in twenty-four hours.

"What the—where am—?!" she stopped.

Upon pushing herself onto her knees and recognizing the familiar floor (along with the cackling laughs of a mad scientist) Bell's expression darkened.

Slowly turning her head to the teenager clutching his stomach from the fit of laughter, Bella looked deadly as the boy's beloved hydrofluoric acid.

"Senku Ishigami—I swear on my mother's grave, once I get my hearing back I'll be fixin' to ring your little neck!"

Wiping a tear from his scarlet eyes, the fifteen-year-old in question yanked the insidious mystery drink from the coffee table and shoved it in her face.

"Yeah yeah, you say that, but if you kill me now then who'll drag your sorry self to space in a few years, eh?"

Furrowed brows accompanied a suspicious look on Bella's face.

"Is that poison..? 'Cus it sure-fire looks like poison."

Senku rolled his eyes at her southern toned doubts.

"Yes, I'm going to poison one of the few people who go to science exhibits with me and understand over half of what's going on. That sounds like such a logical and beneficial idea!"

His sarcasm and fake smile were definitely off the charts with that one.

"No, you dumb blonde," he dropped the act, flicking her now normal temperature forehead. "It's a mixture of things that'll ten billion percent eliminate the hangover that I know you have."

Senku then swiped two pills off the table and put them in her hand. He finally rested his hands on his hips, a confidence she'd grown used to radiating from him.

"Pair that drink with four-hundred milligrams of ibuprofen and you'll be sure to send that hangover straight to hell," he assured darkly, making Bella look down at her open palm.

Scoffing lightly, the olivine-eyed girl glanced back up at him through her untamed bangs.

"Y'couldn't have done this without the pans, huh?" Bell chuckled, momentarily ignoring the debilitating pain in her head. "You just had to be somewhat annoying because heaven forbid you—"

"Hi, yeah, that's cool—can you chug the drink already? I mean I know you can, given your state last night," Senku cut in, snickering at his own dig.

Continuing with a pinky in his ear, he sardonically sucked in air through his teeth. "But I'm kindaaa on a time crunch here, gotta be back at school in ten minutes. Not all of us are high-school drop outs, y'know?"

"Hey! I got my G.E.D. thank you very much," the world traveler defended her early leave from formal education.

She's still very studious of course, and Senku knows that. He really likes that about her, and in fact, she was studying medical science the day they met, a little over a year ago.

But that's not going to stop him from taking jabs at her any chance he gets, no way! Where's the fun in that?

Sniffing the greenish-brown liquid, Bella had to hold back a gag as she eyed the expectant Senku.

"Do I even want to know what's in here?"

He thought about her question for a moment, holding his chin in a fake ponderous air.

"Probably not," he concluded with a shrug, before grinning mischievously and joining Bella on the floor. "But I'll tell you anyways!"

Sitting criss-crossed in front of her, Senku leaned forward to the girl who wasn't prepared for a passionate nerd spiel this soon after waking up.

"The drink is a mix of coconut water for electrolytes, spinach for magnesium, ginger for nausea relief, banana for potassium, lemon juice for detox," he rattled off, raising each finger with every new ingredient.

"Then I added honey for energy, apple cider vinegar for digestion, parsley as a diuretic, and yogurt for probiotics. It's basically a scientifically balanced hangover cure!"

He was clearly proud of his creation—disgusting as the drink sounded—so Bella could only give a resigned sigh.

As she looked back down at what might be waste product from a witch's cauldron, the southern belle shivered. "I think you forgot to add the part where you sprinkled in eye of newt, Sen."

"Oh come on, just pretend it's Dom Pérignon—which is what I'm assuming is your new favorite drink, yeah?"

He smirked as she gave him a pointed look that didn't hold any real anger.

"You're never letting me live last night down, are you?"

"You called me cute, dude," he emphasized, laughing while crossing his arms, leaning further forward with a smirk. "So no—not even if Hell froze over."

"I was afraid’a that.."

Sighing melodramatically, the folk-pop sensation took a brave and hesitant sip of it, nearly throwing up (again) after the first two drops of it breached her esophagus.

Luckily for both parties, she kept it down and was able to down the whole glass in one go.

Placing the cup on the table, Bella wiped her mouth with a scrunched up face at the disgusting drink.

"If that doesn't work I'm so sabotaging your next science project."

Senku snorted out a laugh as he rose to his feet. "Trust me, will you? By the time I get home from school you'll be good as new."

As he made his way to the front door, Isabella didn't even need to see his face to tell what expression came over him. No, his next words and tone painted the picture clearly.

"And then, we'll be pulling an all nighter to figure out why one of those petrified swallows have higher brain activity levels than the others."

He turned around after his shoes were put on, flashing one last devious grin to his roommate.

"This'll be exhilarating, you off-brand Rapunzel—get excited!"

The door shut, and a dark blonde eyebrow raised from the nickname, but for only about two seconds.

A short snicker followed, and Bella rolled her pale green eyes.

"Well ain't that rich coming from a vegetable cosplayer," she breathed out, humor lingering in the expelled carbon dioxide.

It was then, after the Scientist left, that the Star decided to scrape herself off the surprisingly comfortable floor.

As Bells pushed herself up, she decided if she'd passed out here in a drunken haze, that her neck wouldn't have been in much pain.

Although— "Son of a one-legged armadillo! What did I do to my knees?!"

They both had one big square bandage over them. 'Oh,' she thought, looking down at the flooring. 'Didn't I fall on my face last night?'

"Asinine carpet burn.." Bell pouted, sitting on the couch and examining her covered kneecaps. It looked like Senku must've doctored them up.

A knowing grin crept onto her lips for a moment, thinking how he may call her less than flattering nicknames, but at least he shows that he still cares by—

"Wait a second," Bella's brows furrowed as she stood up to look in the mirror hanging above the couch.

Two sage irises widened, seeing a small butterfly style bandage on her busted lip from the night prior.

"Huh, he touched my lips while I was passed out?" she thought aloud, staring at the material before chuckling slightly.

"Eh," the teenager shrugged, unbothered as she plopped back on the couch.

'He's Senku, that nerd's probably never been kissed and couldn't be happier about it. He definitely didn't do anything while I was unconscious.'

Bella then evilly chuckled to herself, rolling over onto the sofa for nap part two. 'And if I find out he did do something, I'll show him exactly what we do to smarmy weasels in Texas.'

Oh, and by the way, if there's one thing to know about Isabella Weinberg?

She goes by Bella, and her middle name is Donna.

So, when necessary, she can be just as pretty and all the more poisonous than deadly nightshade itself.

But we'll digress for now; more on Ms. Belladonna later.

this is my first time writing for dr stone since 2021, and with season 4 in progress, i have to admit the hyper fixation is back and defffinitely stronger than before, so buckle up!

I was so confused on the coloring in Dr. Stone until I saw a post that it wasn’t mean to be accurate.

The variation solely in Senku’s hair is INSANE it goes from light green to dark green, white to light green, white to dark green, in some it’s almost all white, in others the white is nonexistent

In some, the tips look fucking blue?? In some, the entirety of his hair looks blueish?? Sometimes the tips are so dark it’s almost black?? Sometimes the roots are so yellow it hurts

Kohaku’s eyes range from dark blue to emerald green

Xeno’s hair color goes from pure white to purple-ish white to BLOND

Senku’s eyes too - reddish brown to pure brown and a few pure red

The coloring on the Ishigami Villagers outfits goes from blue to brown to red and all over again (and I’m not just talking about the seasonal changes)

Gen’s hair goes from white and black to blonde and brown and Tsukasa’s goes from Blue-Black to full on brown

Stanley’s eyes go from purple to yellow?? His hair also goes from white to blonde?

Even just parts of clothing, like the inside of Senku’s shirt being blue??

Don’t even get me started on adult Kohaku being in two different places on the front and back cover of volume 19 istg (also, Senku’s outfit fades to red in this one where it never did before??)

Senku’s also on every spine except two (Volumes 3 and 6, which have Kohaku and Byakuya respectively)

Some of the outfit ones I could leave up to multiple pairs of clothes, and for a few you can even make hair color excuses as it grows out and changes, but what the fuck is up with the eyes

I have never seen a manga so inconsistent and I love it

Okay that low-key makes me ship Tsukasa and Aurora even more cuz I love some Taurus x Libra, but I gotta calm down about this

"He's the big fighter guy, yeah? I'm into that."

The best part of that, is that his calm patience would be so perfect for someone like Aurora. Plus he's strong and reliable. I can see there being issues between them, but they'd be an interesting couple for sure.

Im sorry but im feeling extra soft and feelsy today so Gen teaching Tsukasa how to slow dance?

I'm. Physically ill over this

It's such a small thing, really.

The moment is a blip in time, and yet it meant everything in the moment.

Gen was humming to himself a song from the old world that he missed while taking a brisk evening walk.

The moon was high, the sky was clear, and the world was at total peace.

He does a little spin, losing himself in the moment, and not even considering that anyone was watching.

But just as he finishes his twirl, he catches Tsukasa from the corner of his eye.

The two men greet each other politely

And though there is no real reason to remain together

They do so anyway.

Tsukasa asks Gen what song he was singing

Gen just shrugs and doesn't give a real answer, as is typical

"It sounded nice coming from you," Tsukasa said

Gen's face flushes

And dares to ask if Tsukasa knows how to dance

He admits that he doesn't

Reminding Gen that he'd never gotten the chance to do such things

It's a risk, but Gen offers to teach him

"Just for fun," Gen says. "I won't tell a single soul if you don't want me to."

Tsukasa considers it, then hesitantly agrees.

He wasn't sure he could be gentle

Even with Gen, the man he cared for

But he lets Gen take his hands, and pull him in

One hand rests in Gen's, one on his waist

Gen's touch on his shoulder is featherlight, yet heavier than anything Tsukasa had ever felt

Tsukasa thinks his heart might explode when Gen smiles up at him

It's a real smile

A rare sight from the mentalist

"I'll lead, my dear Tsukasa," Gen says

He's awkward and stiff compared to Gen's more fluid and easy movements

But he manages not to step on his feet

Or trip

Or otherwise embarrass himself

Gen hums his song, giving them a soft soundtrack as they dance together

At some point, Tsukasa gets more confident, and takes the lead himself

Gen praises him, but his words don't feel flowery or fake, like they usually do

Not when his voice is so soft

His eyes filled with such warmth

Tsukasa twirls Gen, pulling him in and dipping him low like he'd seen in movies

Gen's face is bright red

"My, my. Already an expert, I see~" Gen coos

Tsukasa chuckles, pulling him back up.

"I have an excellent teacher."

Neither of them moves, both letting the moment really sink in

Then they part, hands hesitant to let go of the other.

"Shall I walk you back to camp?" Tsukasa asks

"I'd be honored, dearest."

Tsukasa curses himself for not kissing Gen before leaving him

Tsukasa x gn!Reader

It had been an accident. The knife you’d been holding had slipped and sliced into the meat of your other hand. You hissed out curses, trying to press a clean cloth against your hand to stop the bleeding before it got too bad. But the cut was deep, and you were definitely going to need stitched together. 

You’re in the middle of the simple procedure when Tsukasa comes barreling into the room. 

“Hey! Careful!” Yuzuriha scolds him, but her words go ignored as he rushes towards you, hands reaching for your face. 

“Are you alright?” He asks, breathless. He must have run all the way from the training field once he got the news. 

“Yeah, I’m okay,” You say, pressing your cheek into his hand on instinct, seeking his warmth. Tsukasa lets out a relieved sigh, his shoulders relaxing immediately. 

“Thank goodness. All I’d heard was that you were hurt, but no one told me what happened,” He says. 

“Can I finish working on my patient please?” Yuzuriha huffs, though you don’t think she’s actually that mad. If anything, she looked more amused than anything. “I still need to wrap their hand up.”

“I can do that,” Tsukasa says, turning and holding out his palm for the necessary supplies. Yuzuriha sighs, and hands them over before quickly and quietly slipping out of the room with a sneaky little grin on her face. Almost like this was planned. 

Your friends were getting less and less sneaky about what they were trying to do. 

Tsukasa takes a seat in front of you, pulling your hand into his lap so that he can inspect the careful stitching with a frown. His eyes always held a kind of intensity, but his gaze almost felt like it was burning. It made you more than a little anxious. He was always telling you to be more careful, and here you were getting hurt doing something mundane. 

“I’m sorry,” You blurt suddenly, unable to hold it in. Tsukasa looks up at you, soft eyes flitting across your anxiety filled expression. 

“What for?” He asks.

“Getting hurt. Again.”

“It happens to the best of us,” He says. “I’m more worried about how this is going to affect your ability to do the things you enjoy.” 

“Oh…” You hadn’t had time to think about that. With an injured hand, you wouldn’t be able to write, play music, or even help with basic tasks until you were healed. There was no way Senku would let you risk an infection. 

So, what were you supposed to do now? Nothing? But how could you just sit here and do nothing all day? The Kingdom of Science needed every available hand in order to keep things moving, yours included.

What a burden you’d become. Not only were you hurt, but now you were useless too. 

“Hey, hey,” Tsukasa’s hand touches your face again. You blink, a little startled at his touch and worried tone. 

“Huh? Oh, sorry, were you saying something?” You ask, a little embarrassed to have to even ask. You should have been paying attention already-

“No, it’s alright. You just…looked lost for a minute,” He says softly, fingers brushing across your cheek before dropping. 

“Oh…” 

Silence falls between you, neither knowing really what to say next. Tsukasa grabs the supplies he was given- some ointment and bandages- and gets to work on your hand. The ointment stings a bit, but not too seriously. Just enough to know it was working. 

As he works, you take a moment to focus on his hands, hoping the small distraction was enough to shake some of this anxiety you were building. 

They’re bigger than yours, though to be fair Tsukasa was a bit taller. And they were warm. Very warm. You always liked that about him, his warmth always giving you a strange feeling of security and comfort. 

God you liked him so much. You just wished you’d stop embarrassing yourself in front of him every time you were together. You always said or did something that made you wish a hole would swallow you up so that you could perish in peace. But no matter what, he never stopped finding and spending time with you. It made you dare to think that maybe he liked you too. 

“There we go,” Tsukasa murmurs once the bandage is firmly in place. “You’ll have to change this pretty often, but I can help you with that if you need it. I know you don’t handle pain very well.” 

Your face flushes, but he just gives you a warm smile, sending your heart beating a million miles a second. 

“I-I can do it on my own just fine!” You say with a huff, making him chuckle a little. 

“Of course,” he says. “My mistake.” 

There’s another moment of quiet, though this one is filled with a different kind of tension. The kind that told you Tsukasa was measuring his next words, planning them extremely carefully before speaking. 

“I was worried,” He says softly. 

“I’m so-”

“Don’t apologize, I know accidents happen. But when I was told you’d been hurt, I couldn’t help but feel anxious,” He sighs, holding your bandaged hand in his gentle palm. “I think you’re the first person other than my sister to so thoroughly scare me like that.” 

Great. Fantastic. Now you felt even more terrible about the whole thing. Way to go, you! 

“I’ll be more careful, I swear,” You say, praying your voice isn’t shaking given your sudden need to cry. 

“Good. Because if something serious happened to you, I don’t know how I’d ever recover,” He murmurs. You’re still processing his words when he lifts your hand, and presses your bandaged palm against his lips. 

It’s such a small and quick action, but the kiss has your whole body heating up, your face bright red and your heart hammering somehow even harder. You needed to calm down, and fast, before you passed out. That was the last thing either of you needed after this whole ordeal. 

“I-I’ll be extra careful,” You repeat. “Cross my heart! You won’t have to keep taking care of me like this!”

Tsukasa chuckles, a warm smile on his own slightly flushed face.

“What if I said I didn’t mind taking care of you?” He asks, standing and pulling you to your feet with him.

“I’d say you shouldn’t waste your time,” You say. 

“It’s not a waste. Not if it’s you.”

“Yeah?” 

“Yeah.”

Gen's eyebrow twitches, his emotional mask slipping ever so slightly. He was starting to get annoyed now.

How, just how did Tsukasa not see what was happening here? Was he just not being direct enough?

Perhaps Tsukasa was just used to Gen's usually empty words. That was fine. Maybe he just needed to take a more physical approach. That might help get his intentions through to the warrior.

He steps forward, hand reaching to touch the front of Tsukasa's shirt.

"My, Tsukasa dear, this does look rather fetching on you," Gen says.

"Why thank you-"

"It must be made of boyfriend material," It was a risky move, but Gen went for it anyway.

But, much to his chagrin, Tsukasa's head tilts, his eyebrows furrowing together.

"Actually, I believe miss Yuzuriha made it out of hemp cloth and a bit of leather."

"A-ah...I see...of course..." Gen drops his hand, failure making him feel more than a little embarrassed.

"Hey you two," Senku's voice cuts between them. "Quit just standing around. We're trying to get things done around here."

Gen takes this as his excuse to scurry away, already plotting new ways to try to get his crush's attention.

Tsukasa watches him go, a little confused.

"You're an idiot, by the way."

Tsukasa looks at Senku, who was staring at him with a blank expression.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Dude. Seriously? Even I'm not that blind."

"I don't follow."

"Gen just said your shirt was made out of boyfriend material. That's like, one of the oldest pickup lines there is," Senku sighs and shakes his head, wandering off back to the lab, and leaving Tsukasa to digest his words.

It takes a moment, perhaps longer than it should, but finally it hits him, and his face burns red.

Talking about fantasy and horror themed stone world! What if some humans during the perrification turned into mythological creatures? What creatures you think Senku, Taiju, Yuzuhira, Gen, Tsukasa, Ukyo, Ryusui, Francois, Xeno and Stanley or other characters would have turned into? Would they had turned fully into these creatures or only gaining some traits? Also would being petrified again turn you more into this creature and get them to loose their humanity entirely? Your post truly got my gears moving now!!!

Getting transformed into something is a process that isn't always all or nothing. It depends on each person's ability to fight off the magic being cast on them. As for re-petrification, so long as they maintain enough of their humanity, being turned to stone would in theory fight off the lingering magic. However, if they turn completely, they're no longer human and therefore have no hope of being petrified again.

That's not to say there aren't spells that could fix them, but they'd have to find someone who can do that, which may not be as easy as it sounds. If we're basing this on the magic system I built instead of classic fantasy magic, it's more of a cosmic horror type thing that will definitely leave them all scarred in some way or another.

Now! The list! Most of them are classic mythology and some characters might get the same creature, based on their general attributes.

Senku: Kitsune

Fox spirits known for their high intelligence and occasional tricky nature

Yuzuriha: Elf

Not in the Tolkien way, necessarily. Known in many tales for their beauty, wisdom, and crafting skills

Gen & Francois: Fairy

They're both tricksters and helpers in most mythology, which fits them both pretty well

Tsukasa & Taiju : Griffin

Griffins are creatures of power and protection, that should speak for itself

Ukyo: Naga

Creatures known in some mythology for peace and wisdom who will absolutely wreck you if you piss them off

Ryusui: Dragon

Dragons are known for their greed, but also they can be surprisingly benevolent

Xeno: Illithid

Yes, like in Dungeons & Dragons. Creatures of extremely high intelligence also known for a bit of madness and desire for conquering the world and twisting it to be in their image.

Stanley: Demon

Demons are pretty versatile in myth and fantasy. But Stanley, as we know, is beautiful, intelligent, dangerous, and extremely capable of whatever he deigns to do. Also, technically, he's under contract with Xeno (whether personal or professional it doesn't matter a contract is a contract)

He’s going to be sick. 

There’s so much blood. It’s on his hands, the ground, pouring from Manolo’s chest- 

How did this happen? How did Tsukasa fail this badly? 

He was right there. Manny was so close to him, practically in his arms!

But then-

Gods, what even happened? His mind is running so fast, he's not even sure he remembers. All he knows is one minute they were both fine, the next, Manny was choking on his own lungs.

Why him? Why the one person Tsukasa had finally started truly opening himself to? What kind of cruel universe gave him someone to love, only to take him away so violently?

The sound of Manolo gagging snaps him back to full attention. The man lying below him has little light left in his eyes. He wasn't going to make it, not even if Tsukasa ran as fast as he could.

So instead, he just gathers him in his arms, and pulls him close.

"I'm sorry," Tsukasa says, a sob breaking from his chest. "Manolo I'm so sorry."

His dying companion gasps, breath coming in broken wheezes. He mumbles something in Spanish, but Tsukasa can't really understand it. His words are too heavily slurred.

"I'm here," Tsukasa says, hoping to give him some comfort. "I won't leave you to die alone."

He shouldn't be dying at all.

A hand, shaky and far too cold, reaches up and weakly caresses Tsukasa's face, pulling another pained sob from the warrior.

Tsukasa leans down, pressing his lips to Manolo's. They're just as cold as his hand, and trembling slightly. Tsukasa can taste the blood splattered across them.

"Manolo I-"

His whole body jerks as he awakens suddenly, his breaths coming hard. Tears were in his eyes and pouring down his cheeks.

A dream? Had it really just been a bad dream?

Maybe he should check on Manolo, make sure the other man was alright. That would certainly give him some comfort.

He rushes outside, letting the cool air soothe his nerves and calm the nausea in his gut. It's late, everyone else has long gone to bed. Everyone but...

He moves without thinking, taking his steps quickly and without any hesitation.

Manolo turns when he hears Tsukasa approaching, smiling at him in the way he always does, whether he realizes it or not.

In a rare moment of pure honesty, Senku sighs.

Have you considered Gen/Tsukasa. Listen, The way Tsukasas response to the evils of the world can be summarized as fight while Gens was fawn/lie and yet both of them were lonely pre stone world. Them knowing each other before and Tsukasa choosing to wake Gen. (1/2)

Gen being the person later who hands Tsukasa the face paint as a way to make Tsukasa feel more included (he definitely was aware of the gesture feeling meaningful, its Gen). The first time you touch him, he freezes, his whole body tensing at the sudden and unexpected contact. 

It had been such a nonchalant, casual thing for you. A simple hand on his arm while the two of you were talking. You hadn't even thought about what you'd done, or why you'd done it. It had just felt right in the moment. But you catch how still he goes, how startled he seems behind his usually calm expression. 

You mumble an apology as you pull away, earning yourself one of his small smiles and nods, along with a soft assurance that it was alright. 

"I'm just not used to it," He says. "Usually when I touch someone, it ends in violence." 

The second time you touch him, it's more purposeful. More cautious. You offer him your hand when he’s exhausted from training and slumped on a tree stump, telling him it was time to eat. 

He pauses, considers your hand, then takes it. 

The third time and fourth times you make contact, it's his decision. 

His hand comes down on your shoulder a little harder than he'd intended, startling you and causing you to almost mess up what you were doing. You look up over your shoulder at him, face flushing, the warmth of his palm heating your whole body. 

“Sorry to startle you,” He says, looking a little sheepish. “Mind if I join?” 

You nod, shifting over a bit so he can sit beside you, spreading himself just enough to let his knee bump against yours. Not that you minded, of course.

The fifth time you touch, there's blood. 

It's everywhere, yet he looks so calm. You keep your hands pressed into his side, eyes wide, as you try to process what happened. It had been so fast. One minute, you were collecting herbs for Senku, the next Tsukasa was next to you, taking a bite to the ribs directly from a wild animal that had snuck up on you. 

Nothing but rapid apologies spill from your lips. You should have been paying more attention, should have noticed the danger before it got too close. But you were exhausted after too many long nights staring up at the ceiling begging for sleep to come. All you could do was thank the heavens that Tsukasa had been nearby, otherwise it could be you bleeding all over the place right now. 

You insist that he lean on you as you head back to get him treated, so that he doesn’t agitate his injured side. He chuckles, reminds you that he’s had worse, but does it anyway.

You don’t know what exactly changes in him after that, but every time you make contact afterwards, it feels almost like he’s come to find your touch as a new comfort. Something he not just wants, but needs. 

Whenever you sit or stand close to him, you find him shifting closer, letting his shoulder or knee press lightly against yours, he becomes the first to offer you high-fives when you do something cool, and whenever he approaches you from behind, he’ll press a hesitant hand to your upper back so as to not startle you. 

It becomes so constant, yet you just can’t get used to it. He stays physically distant from everyone else, so what exactly was it that made you so special? Had you done something? Did he just like you more than everyone else? 

If only he wasn’t so hard to read. You could ask him, you suppose, but how exactly do you bring that up in casual conversation without accidentally causing him to distance himself from you again? 

You rub at your face with a sigh. Your head was killing you, and your vision was starting to get hazy. A nap would be perfect right now. Some sleep might just help you put your thoughts in order. 

“Whoa-hey!” A pair of hands grabs you, catching you just as your knees give out. You blink several times, looking up at your savior. 

“Tsukasa,” You say, more to confirm it to yourself that it was him looking at you with a worried expression. 

“Are you alright?” He asks, still holding on to you. 

“I think so,” You say. “I’m just tired. I was gonna go try to lay down for a minute or ten.”

This one was the hardest. Tsukasa, to me, is the kind of guy who is more likely to listen to audiobooks and good podcasts, and only really listens to music to relax.

Stanley is the guy who would show up at your doorstep when he finds out you're being abused and help you kill the man and hide the body.

It's a song about loving science and technology, but being hurt by how companies have turned it into something made solely for profit. It's a song about disappointment, about being disappointed. And Xeno is nothing, if not disappointed in the world.

It honestly just fits the vibe. He also listens to whatever Stanley puts on the radio (will tell you he doesn't like Taylor Swift but has been caught more than once jamming to her)

Cause like, here's the thing.

Tsukasa is one of those people that I firmly believe would have ended up at Senku's side, even if the world hadn't turned to stone (Gen also sits on this list, but that's a different post).

Think of how well they fit together almost immediately. How they match each other's wavelength from the moment Tsukasa wakes up, and how even after Tsukasa believes Senku is dead, he still carries the weight of their relationship. Of what could have been, had Senku just looked the other way.

Whether romantic or platonic, they were made for each other.

Anyway, now that I've rambled about that, have whatever this is as a little treat:

Platonic SenKasa

Tsukasa trusts Senku without question.

Sure, there are some things that he'll raise an eyebrow at, but in the end, if Senku says it, Tsukasa is rolling with it

This goes both ways

Senku will look to Tsukasa for his thoughts on a lot of things before going to anyone else.

Because Tsukasa will listen.

He will sit and let Senku talk until he works out the solution to whatever the problem was

Senku trusts Tsukasa with his life almost more than he does Taiju, and that's because he knows that if he needs someone to fight for him, Tsukasa will do it without hesitation.

They could almost be considered soulmates, if either of them believed in things like that

They aren't very physically affectionate with each other

Their platonic affection typically comes in the form of words and deeds

Tsukasa will often carry Senku on his back when he exhausts himself while scolding him for overexerting himself

Senku just rolls his eyes, and reminds Tsukasa that he also goes too far sometimes

Tsukasa is the person who gets the side-eye from Senku when someone says something objectively stupid/hilarious but no one is allowed to laugh (we all have had those moments you know what I'm talking about)

On nights when Senku can't sleep, Tsukasa is there.

"Late night, huh?" "Yeah." Neither of them speak for a moment. "Do you wanna talk about it?" "What, are you my therapist or something?" "No, just a friend." Senku huffs out a laugh. "You ever just want to go home?" Tsukasa thinks about the question for a while, taking his time to consider what Senku is actually asking him. "If I went home, I wouldn't get to spend time with so many great people," Tsukasa says. "I'm blessed to be here with you, Senku." "Gross, you sound like you're in love with me." Now Tsukasa laughs.

He's had a bad childhood and spent a majority of his life fighting people for money, so his relationship with it is a little iffy.

That's not to say he doesn't like it, he just has to be warned first

Tries really hard post stone war to reorient his thoughts and be more accepting of casual touch

With His Partner:

It takes time for him to warm up to touching and being touched by you

But once he's fully comfortable, it's fairly constant.

He'll hold your hand, brush his fingers over your arms, tug on the back of your shirt so that you don't go too far, and find reasons to lean his weight on you (just a little, he's genuinely worried he'll hurt you).

Ryusui:

I would say Ryusui would be flattered to have a protective s/o

There was one day when you guys were building the Perseus and you overheard some people smack talking Ryusui 

“I bet that new guy Ryusui doesn’t care about saving anyone. I’m sure he’s just making us build this thing just so he can have one.”

Your head quickly perks up, eyeing the random npc who said that 

“Excuse me??” You say, “Ryusui would NEVER do something like that”

Now you’re all up in this guys face

“Don’t even think for a second that Ryusui is so selfish that he doesn’t care about anyone at all! He’s the kindest person in the world and don’t you ever forget that again!”

When Ryusui heard about your outburst he quickly finds you and throws himself all over you 

“My sweet y/n! Your words make me so happy I could eat you all up!” He says this as he’s tightly holding you and jokingly biting your cheek and kissing you all over your face 

But he gets serious 

“But you don’t have to worry about people’s words dear. As much as I appreciate you standing up for me I would hate if it got you into serious trouble trying to defend me. Words will always be words sweetheart, and you will always be my love<3”

Ryusui would hate it if you or someone started a fight just over some words said about him 

He couldn’t care less on how the world sees him good for you baby! As long as he’s seen with nothing but love in your eyes screw what everyone else has to say!

But let’s say when you guys get to America and Stanley’s doing what Stanley does best and shooting up a storm at all of you

You see Ryusui about to get hit as you push him to the ground and use your body as a shield 

At first Ryusui is flabbergasted 

He’s so used to you being so calm and collected and a tad bit goofy but now you’re all protective and defensive!

But Ryusui doesn’t sit back for too long because he pushes you back as well

You two probably keep doing this to each other until you both get hurt

It doesn’t really help anyone lol

If you get seriously injured protecting him then he’ll get so hard on himself but do his best to help you back to your normal self 

He might even distance himself from you when you’re all better because he thinks you might get hurt again :(

Senku

I don’t think Senku would notice and or care if you were protective of him or not

When you were hearing some of the villagers smack talking about him because of all the work that he gives them

You of course talk back, saying how Senku’s the reason why the village is so safe and how all these cool inventions are being made so they better shut their mouth or you’re just gonna hafta-

“Y/n! What the hell are you doing?? Those bolts were supposed to be done 10 minutes ago!!!”

Senku just appears out of nowhere to scold you lol 

You try to explain yourself, saying that some guy was insulting him, and bro does not gaf 💀

“Ok???? Who cares??? Pls just get your work done!!!”

You’re kinda hurt thats that was his reaction 

But as you’re walking away…!!!

“But…thanks anyway y/n. Just don’t waste your breath on me.”

You can see his red ears from the corner of your eye and now everything’s all better!

Now as for physically protecting him, it doesn’t happen a lot cause he’s always thinking about how to do things scientifically, but when Stanley shoots at Senku and you push him out of the way only for you to get hurt, he kinda blanks for a second 

But that second doesn’t last long at all because he quickly starts trying to help you, despite being in Stanley’s line of fire

After everything’s all said and done and you’re awake and recovering, he lets you have it

“What were you thinking???!!! That’s was a stupid idea for you to jump in front of a literal gunshot!!! What if you died Y/N???! What if you left me??!!!!”

Yeah he’s kinda mad at you for doing something so bold, but he’s more mad about the fact that despite having a plan, it won’t always work, and the result of that was you getting hurt

He blames himself for not acting fast enough

“I….im sorry Senku… I just didn’t want to see you hurt that’s all…”

That’s all he has to hear to hold you tight and start to cry in your hair

That’s when he says those rare 3 words

“I love you moron…don’t ever scare me like that again…”

Tsukasa

Don’t even try💀

At least don’t try to physically protect him

Like there’s literally no reason and/or way to 

He either one, saves you first

Or two, literally gets hit and is not affected at all

But if someone were stupid enough to smack talk him, you’d be the first one to go defend him

Someone’s still salty that he was busting down statues?

“You don’t know anything about that situation! Were you there when it happened??? Then you can’t say anything!!”

Someone’s jealous that he’s one of the most attractive men in this show?? Besides Ryusui ofc<3

“Don’t be mad Tsukasa’s gorgeous and you’re not! And it’s not his face that’s just gorgeous! It’s his beautiful soul too!”

No one really replies to you like for Ryusui or Senku’s case

No one wants to risk saying the wrong thing 

After all if they say the wrong thing Tsukasa will just destroy them☺️

Ukyo

If anyone has anything bad to say about Ukyo then they’re wrong Ukyo has probably, sadly, heard it 

His ears are able to hear pretty much anything so he’d be able to hear whatever bad things people had to say about him

But! He’s also able to hear you defend him

“Ukyo’s the most important general!” You say to some random hater, “his insight is more than valuable! So don’t ever say anything like that about him again!”

He can’t help but smile to himself and Senku gets weirded out at his sudden change in behavior 

Ukyo won’t really say anything about it, you’ll just be met with a soft kiss or a million I love yous

If you were to physically protect him then I think he might crash out 😶

When you push him out of the way of an attack, he can hear the pain in your voice, and it just breaks him

Immediately tends to you, doesn’t matter if hes still in the line of fire or he has wounds of his own

He scolds you when you wake up, but not as fiercely as Senku 

It’s just a soft, tearful “what were you thinking? You could’ve seriously got hurt… well I mean look at you… please never scare me like that again…”

He’s definitely got more of an eye on you after that 

Chrome:

Chrome has always been called weird for his “sorcery” 

But anyone who calls him that now is gonna get a long lecture from his s/o

“Chrome actually uses nothing but science and is actually helping the kingdom of science out a lot so you should watch the way you talk!!”

He appreciates this more than he lets on

He’ll probably give you a, “it’s not that big of a deal y/n” and walk away but he actually is really happy

If you seen One Piece, you know how chopper will be saying not to praise him but act all giddy anyway?

Yeah that’s Chrome

As for physical protection? He’s actually flabbergasted

Like buddy did not know you were capable of such strength 

But if you were to get seriously hurt then he’d start panicking real fast

Suika’s gonna have to calm him down while Senku or someone starts tending to your wounds but quickly jumps in and tries to help

Gets all teary eyed when you’re better saying things along the lines of “you really scared me” or “don’t do anything so rash next time!”

I’m being real with you he probably owns an amusement park💀

So you have the whole park to yourselves!

Unless there’s somewhere else you really want to go

He hates waiting in long lines, that’s why he built his own lol

But once he gets on the ride he’s stoked 

Immediately going to the back or wherever is the scariest on the ride

You have to beg him to put his hands on the bars so he doesn’t fly out

Gets all romantic with the slow rides like the tunnel of love or the Ferris wheel

But as soon as they’re over he’s zooming over to the next ride

Only good at a couple of games

The amusement park gets rich from the amount of money he spends to get you ONE prize

He’s such a crackhead it’s so funny💀

Definitely much calmer than Ryusui

He just likes to follow you around to whatever ride you like

Slow rides, fast rides, nothing really bugs him

For the drop ride

I feel like that’s the ride that would destroy him

He wouldn’t yell or anything, but as soon as the ride’s over you look at his face and it’s just dead and white

He hates that one so much

A legend at the games

Wins you every prize 

He likes going on the Ferris wheel when the sun starts to set

He thinks it’s romantic 🥰 

Chrome

In actual awe when he firsts goes to an amusement park

“Y/N DID YOU SEE THAT??? ALL THOSE PEOPLE WENT UPSIDE DOWN AND DIDNT FALL OFF!!! HOW DID THEY DO THAT????”

But when he actually gets on one of the coasters he’s petrified 

Literally looks like a lifeless body just walking around the rest of the park

You either have to progressively make your way up to the scary coaster (like start your way from the carousel or the tea cups before going on the super crazy ones)

Or you just let him learn the hard way and try your best to help him afterward

Dude’s a big back and will tear up the food there

“OH MY GOSH Y/N DID YOU TRY THIS??? ITS A FRIED OREO STUFFED IN A FRIED PICKLE STUFFED IN A FRIED CHICKEN LEG!!!!”

At the end of the day, you two will be on the Ferris wheel and he’s smiling when he says, “thanks for the fun day y/n! I loved being able to hang out with you all day. I just love you so much!”

Gives a good chuckle here and there but doesn’t normally laugh that much

EXCEPT

When you tell a really corny science joke

Dude tries to keep it together but will bust out laughing 

Especially when you say one out of nowhere

“You’re a really good chemist senku.”

“Probably because you’re always working with SOLUTIONS :D”

His head turns away so fast as he’s trying to hide his smile and all you can hear is little snort coming from him

This of course makes you start to laugh and then that makes him laugh more

He hates his laugh but it’s so cute!

He gives a smile or a soft huff but doesn’t normally laugh

I honestly can’t think of any situation where he would genuinely laugh unless it’s with Mirai

She’ll be telling him about her day or tell him a really childish joke and he’ll just smile and giggle from her excitement 

Sam goes with pretty much anyone when they’re talking about something 

But Tsukasa will really give it his best laugh for mirai 

Taiju (1):

Does not take that much to get this guy to laugh

You could say something really stupid and he’d bust out laughing 

Always smiling and telling dumb jokes of his own

I think she’ll mainly laugh at funny stories people have told her or if she hears other people laughing

Same as Taiju, always laughing

And ofc the both of you will always giggle when you’re falling asleep together 

But sometimes his laugh scares you, especially when you’re so focused on something and all you hear is “HAHAHA Y/N GUESS WHAT I FOUND!!!”

But when he tries to quiet down his laugh it sounds like an evil kitten

Sai is more likely to catch on, but doesn’t want to say anything because he’s worried he’ll offend you if he’s wrong

He does bring it up though when he sees you having a hard time reading a menu at a restaurant 

“Darling do you want me to read it for you?”

With a blush you nod, that’s all he needs to know

He has no problem helping you 

He makes sure that if you spelt something wrong or need help reading something to whisper it so you’re not embarrassed 

If you ever get frustrated he’s definitely someone to go to. He’s not good with words but while hold you and let you vent

He heard you mumbling to yourself when he found out

He found out when you went to one of his matches

Your face immediately reddens as you look at the sign again. You didn’t recognize it at first but after slowly reading it you found the issue

After that Tsukasa asked you about it and told you Mirai didn’t mean any harm in what she said

Ryusui, Senku, Stanley, and Tsukasa’s Christmas with their s/o🎄❤️

Ryusui:

he probably thinks Christmas is all about the presents

So on Christmas Day there will probably be trucks full of gifts, all for you! Please there’s no reason for him to have that much money

BUT-

You have to teach him that there are other things to enjoy other than just a pile of presents

The first time he watched a Christmas movie with you and your is DEFINITELY a core memory for him

Your matching pajamas, the way you snuggle into him and sharing the hot chocolate you prepared, the echo of your laugh filling his ears, and at the very end how you kiss him and thank him for spending Christmas with you

He completely melts

He’s so in love, he just wants moments with you like this all the time.

The only Christmases he remembers are just his dad and uncle basically throwing him into a room full of gifts and leaving for a Christmas vacation somewhere 

So having genuine time with you and your family and sharing your love with each other makes him so happy he might even tear up a bit my poor baby😭

Now it’s tradition for the both of  you to do something like that every year❤️

Senku:

He spends it in the lab 💀 

You have to drag him out of there

You have to BEG him to back cookies with you

“Come on Senku! Please! It’s like chemistry, we have to mix a bunch of stuff together!”

After 30 minutes of begging he finally caved

Of course Senku knows all the perfect measurements to everything so the only thing you really had to do was mix the ingredients together

Your mom and dad did keep him busy with random conversations though

In the living room you can hear them whispering about something but you don’t know what

The cookies tasted great!

After you both said goodbye to your family and your mom hugged the crap outta him you both headed back home.

“You don’t have to stay, Senku. I’m ok with you going back to the lab. I just wanted to spend time with you…”

And with that he leaves-

You sit in the living room, bummed out that Senku left again

Senku comes back with a small box and a huge blush

“Here…”

You were super shocked when you opened it up 

“Senku…this ring, it’s platinum right? You didn’t really…”

“It’s what the old man would’ve wanted. And…it’s what I want too…”

You started to cry

Senku didn’t know what to do 

You just held each other and told each other how much you loved one another, excited about the future with each other 

Stanley:

Stanley was on a mission during Christmas

So, Xeno invited you and your family to a Christmas party he and his colleagues were hosting

You really didn’t want to go, especially since you wouldn’t know anyone and Stanley wasn’t with you

But Xeno was still your friend so you decided to show up for him

You and your relatives stand there awkwardly in one of the door frames as Xeno and his colleagues talk about whatever project they were working on

You dad and mom go find some of the snacks and your siblings (if you have any) go causing trouble somewhere

There you were by yourself in the corner

“You look lonely over here under the mistletoe Miss. May i accompany you?”

You knew that voice 

You look up to see your boyfriend 

“Stanley!”

You practically jump on him, wrapping your small arms around his much bigger body

He pets your hair, then lifts your  chin

“We’re still under the mistletoe.” 

You smile at his cheesy gesture something he doesn’t normally do 

You both lean closer together and kiss, desperately clinging to each other like you’re both afraid to let go

“Oh! Is this your boyfriend (y/n)?” 

Your lips immediately leave Stanley’s as you see your whole family just staring at you and Stanley under the mistletoe 

You face turns red instantly causing Stanley to laugh

He sticks his hand out for your family

“My name is Stanley Snyder. It’s an honor to finally meet you all.”

Tsukasa 

You had a gingerbread house competition 

Your mother was the judge

You and Mirai were a team 

Tsukasa and your dad were the other

Tsukasa was struggling making the designs in the roof

Your dad couldn’t get the gum drops to stick

But you and Mirai had a great time with the gumdrops and candy canes, sprinkling them everywhere!

After your major victory Mirai wanted to play with her dolls 

So you and Tsukasa sat on the couch, snuggling up next to each other while your mom kept Mirai entertained 

“Do you want kids?” 

Your head pops up with the sudden question

He locks his eyes with yours, patiently waiting for your response 

A soft smile grows on your face 

“Of course I do!” 

This leaves Tsukasa heart-struck

He kisses your forehead, his favorite way of showing his love for you

You can hear Mirai’s ewws, making both of you laugh

“No sex before marriage!” Your dad yells from the kitchen
